Pearl Abyss published a dev update outlining the roadmap for Crimson Desert from June to September 2026. Updates will roll out gradually and cater to both Pywel veterans and newcomers.
Plans include better cohesion in Cliff's key story scenes, a Re-Blockade rework with a new phase and defense of liberated fortresses, new combat content for true Greymanes, and cross-save — link your account to continue your journey on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
Also promised are gameplay refinements for Damiana and Ungki, so all three playable characters get their share of attention, plus QoL improvements to non-combat content like trading and farming. The studio separately confirmed work on a major DLC — details later.
