Bungie extended Marathon's open week to June 11 — you can try the game free for a few more days. As an apology for recent server downtime, everyone who logs in before the open week ends will receive 50 SILK via in-game mail.
The studio also issued a wave of bans on accounts caught cheating, and reminded players that those knowingly benefiting from cheaters also risk a ban, up to a full account block.
In addition, fixes to progression and the loot economy are rolling out: excessive Cert container spawns in Night Marsh were addressed, Cradle upgrade costs were raised by 25%, and global loot drops are being tuned so the season's economy isn't flooded with powerful items too early.
