At the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, the release date for Halo: Campaign Evolved was announced — July 28, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, Steam and PlayStation 5, with early access from July 23 for Premium and Collector's Edition owners.
The showcase also gave the first look at METEORITE — an exclusive three-mission adventure set before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved: Master Chief and Sergeant Major Avery Johnson infiltrate a Covenant ship where new threats, allies and surprises await.
Pre-ordering any edition grants the Foundry Armory Pack with retro 2001 armor and assault-rifle skins. The Digital Premium Edition adds the Alpha Halo Armory pack, a digital artbook, the Halo: Hungry Buzzards short story and a digital manual in the spirit of the original, while the Collector's Edition adds a steelbook, a Master Chief statue, an LED Cortana chip replica and other collectibles.
