The extreme and unpredictable conditions that characterized the Lost Planet series return, harsher than ever before. Lost Planet 3 reveals new truths about the foreboding planet and the colonial history of E.D.N. III.
Lost Planet 3 introduces Jim Peyton, a rig pilot who leaves Earth to take on a hazardous but lucrative contract on E.D.N. III. Working for Neo-Venus Construction (NEVEC) who are preparing the planet for colonisation, Jim joins his fellow pioneers at the Coronis base and begins surveying the uncharted terrain and obtaining samples of the planet’s energy supply – Thermal Energy.
With NEVEC’s existing Thermal Energy reserve running low the fate of the Coronis mission depends on the natural source of the energy supply being located. Realising that this is a great opportunity for a huge pay-off and early ticket home to his family, Jim braves the risk of the treacherous environment and threat of the indigenous Akrid.
Acting as a home away from home and boasting an array of tools that can assist Jim on the field, the utility rig provides Jim’s safety and is essential not only for his contract work but also his protection against the ever-changing climate.
Lost Planet 3 will deliver a diverse range of gameplay including on-foot battles and intense first person action. With a number of multiplayer modes and a compelling single player experience, Lost Planet 3 will delve deeper into the Lost Planet universe, uncovering hidden truths within the unique and dynamic environment of E.D.N. III.

I feel like if this game was not named Lost Planet...people would have liked it more, I have really enjoyed the world building as well as the slower pace of this game so far. I have a ways to go before I finish it but...

Is there a way to permanently remove this game from my library? It is genuinely so damn bad that it boggles my mind that this was even published, and I don't want this stain of of a great franchise in my library any l...

I didn't play Lost Planet 1 or 2, so I played Lost Planet 3 for what it is. And it's one of the best games of the PS3 era. If you want, you can set your own playlist on the rig, it's easy. Explanation on Fappy commen...

LOST PLANET® 3 Update Version 1.0.3 Now Available
Bug Fixes: Fixed a bug where CAMPAIGN save data was not saved for first-time purchasers following Update Version 1.0.2. Fixed a bug where the free LOST PLANET® 3 – Hi Res Movies DLC was not played back in game following Update Version 1.0.2.

PSA: Lost Planet 3 getting one more update soon
Following up on last week's Lost Planet 3 update for PC, we have one additional update for you LPers. It has come to our attention that first-time purchasers of Lost Planet 3 are experiencing issues saving the CAMPAIGN data; MULTIPLAYER and settings data is unaffected.

I feel like if this game was not named Lost Planet...people would have liked it more, I have really enjoyed the world building as well as the slower pace of this game so far. I have a ways to go before I finish it but I am pretty perplexed by all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ reviews. Game is pretty good, especially for 3 dollars.

I didn't play Lost Planet 1 or 2, so I played Lost Planet 3 for what it is. And it's one of the best games of the PS3 era. If you want, you can set your own playlist on the rig, it's easy.
