Get legendary Bō weapons for Naoe and unlock fresh skills, outfits, and perks for both protagonists. All new gear can be carried back into the main game to expand your arsenal.
A NEW CHAPTER IN THE ASSASSIN'S CREED SHADOWS STORY
Become Naoe and Yasuke once again, and discover this new chapter of their stories as they follow the path of a mysterious shinobi and face the dangerous Sanzoku Ippa clan.
Players will need the base game to access this expansion. The expansion includes 10+ hours of content.
Available for free to all Assassin’s Creed Shadows players who pre-ordered the game.

Genuinely good DLC, though it should be priced around $15. Adds a decent amount of content and a nice addition, yes addition, to the story. A lot of people complaining that the DLC is the end of the game cut off and resold. It's not, the main game closed out Naoe's story in a satisfying way. This DLC adds more to it anyway. If you had a good time in the base game you'll enjoy this.

I get why this is mostly negative. The story is weak, the run time feels extremely padded, and the narrative payoffs are pretty lackluster giving that this honestly is supposed to be the conclusion to the game.

This is one of the most boring DLC's i have ever played. It's full of slog. It's the continuation of Naoe's story and once you get on the island, the story build up is non existent even if there are hints throughout the main game.
