If you like the first game you will love this one too. New animations and artwork with a decent amount of changes to cards, enemies and bosses. The addition of multiplayer/coop mode is my favorite part so far. Idk why people are review bombing this EARLY-ACCESS GAME, for an EXPERIMENTAL UPDATE that was released on the BETA BRANCH that you have to MANUALLY ENABLE in your library to even play at all.

Slay the Spire 2 is a worthy successor to the first game. It beautifully combines old and new mechanics. The standout new feature is the multiplayer mode for up to four players, which runs smoothly and is a lot of fun. I can wholeheartedly recommend Slay the Spire 2! <3

For anyone curious, the recent bout of negative reviews are related to the ebb and flow of early access balance changes. The most recent of these changes, as you can probably tell, has not been very popular. The actual quality of the underlying game, however, remains as strong (if not stronger) than the original. If you liked the first game, I can guarantee you will like this one. A true titan among the deck-builder rogue-likes.

Great game and follow up to the 1st game. the negative reviews are players that only one to play one style and not try different play styles. If one thing doesn't work try another. Chinese players leaving negative reviews doesn't matter, the game is great.
