Set in the '90s, Kathy Rain tells the story of a strong-willed journalism major who has to come to terms with her own troubled past as she investigates the mysterious death of her recently deceased grandfather. Armed with her motorcycle, a pack of cigs, and a notepad, Kathy begins to delve into a local mystery surrounding her hometown that will take her on a harrowing journey full of emotional and personal turmoil.
As she follows a trail of clues he left behind, questions emerge… What was Joseph Rain really looking for that night all those years ago? What turned him into a mere shell of a man, confined to a wheelchair? What secret did a suicidal young artist take with her to the grave, and why are so many people in Conwell Springs going mad? The truth is dark and sinister…

very fun, some head scratchers in there, story was interesting, definatly playing the other instalments, will say depending on your moral values certain topics in this might not be to your likeing, like suicide for ex...

Great game. Feels a lot like Full Throttle and even has some references to it as well. Some of the dialogue writing felt off, but for the most part it's really good and has an excellent conclusion. Word of warning ...

Short and sweet point & click adventure. The puzzle are fun and never too complicated, always with a logical solution, the atmosphere is pretty neat with nice a pixel art and moody soundtrack and the voice acting is s...

Not bad, it clearly showed potential. The Director's Cut improved on all aspects of the game but it's fun to go through a different take on the story. Get it on sale and play it AFTER playing the Director's Cut.

Word of warning though. The game can crash when on the travel screen pretty frequently. Be sure to save pretty often so you do not lose progress.
