At the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, ZeniMax showed a fresh teaser for The Elder Scrolls Online's first season, which starts July 8.
The season opens with a new Thieves Guild storyline: help Quen establish the guild in Glenumbra against the dangerous Coldhand cartel. Throughout the season, players can expect to set out to sea in a new in-game event, an encounter with Sheogorath the Prince of Madness, and many new challenges, rewards and ways to play.
In separate news — after recently joining PC Game Pass, the game entered the Xbox Play Anywhere library: the PC Game Pass version runs on Xbox servers (NA or EU), supports handhelds like the ROG Ally and keeps keyboard-and-mouse controls on PC.
