Season 8 of the Festival of Football has begun in EA SPORTS FC 26, timed to the big summer of football. Alongside the season, the game received the The World's Game update with new content, in-game events and fresh features.

The developers also flagged a visual bug: Token Packs in the token store mistakenly display a preview icon, even though no preview is available for them.
