The weekly Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 briefing brings several pieces of news. Aircraft & Avionics Update 04 is out, with MSFS 2024-native versions of five classic European aircraft: the Antonov An-2, ATR 42-600/72-600, Fokker F.VII, Latécoère 631 and Savoia-Marchetti S.55.
Through June 11, the marketplace has a Carenado sale: 30% off six popular aircraft, including the C172 and B390. The open beta of Sim Update 5.1 also continues — the developers ask participants to share feedback.
The big event of the coming week is FlightSimExpo 2026 in St. Paul (US): an MSFS booth with landing challenges, Red Bull Air Race VR races on Pimax hardware, and the first live "community vs. content creators" tournament.
