Romestead was bought by 250,000 players in its first Early Access week. The Beartwigs team thanks the community and admits it's patching the game daily — sometimes twice a day — based on feedback, reviews and bug reports.
Feedback has already driven many changes: citizens eat less and seem "lazy" less often, the logistics tent (city automation) unlocks earlier as a reward for beating the Guardian of Minerva, negative traits no longer appear on citizens without positives, item stacks and storage sizes are bigger, and early enemies are less aggressive.
A full roadmap will come later: current priorities are full controller support, Steam Deck verification, network optimizations, more varied dungeons and QoL fixes. But the first major milestone is already announced: a fourth big biome with new tiers of buildings, armor, enemies, dungeons and bosses.
