A new milestone for Windrose: 2,000,000 players have set sail across the Archipelago. Studio Kraken Express admits that at launch it could only dream of such a passionate community — and thanks players for every screenshot, stream, review and bug report.
On the development front: one more patch addressing the most common issues from community feedback is coming soon, after which the team will fully shift to producing the next big update. Its scope is still being discussed internally, so details will have to wait.
The goal remains the same — to expand the game meaningfully so the wait is worth it. "This milestone is a new beginning for us, the game and the community," the developers write.
