In the pre-holiday Community Update #36, Larian looks back on a packed year: Baldur's Gate 3 received twelve new subclasses, full cross-play and a photo mode as part of its "last final" patch.
The studio opened the holidays with a four-hour "The Devs Of Christmas" stream: developers took turns attempting Honour Mode, with each death passing the baton to a new participant. It's the year's final broadcast: next the team headed to The Game Awards, where the game is nominated for Best Community Support for the third year running.
The stars of the issue are community mods: the giant rabbits of Bunnies Gate 3, Pool Floaties inflatable hats, muscle cars instead of wild shapes, Evelyn's Monarch grenade launcher and other madness. The year's tally is impressive: 10,000 mods on mod.io and over 350 million downloads.
