Endnight released one of the biggest updates for The Forest — version V1.10. It adds new buildings, new caves to find them in, a new weapon type and two dangerous late-game creatures. Those who completed the alternate ending will find extra decorative buildings in the survival book.
The visuals are significantly improved: a large lake in the center of the map, new volumetric lighting and clouds, increased shadow draw distance, improved tree textures and an underwater render with caustics effects.
A separate block of changes targets multiplayer cheaters: damage-simulation and instant-kill exploits were removed, building-system vulnerabilities fixed, and you can now kick or ban any player on the server — even an "invisible" one.
