The Season of Harvest continues, and there's plenty happening both on and off the battlefield!
This week, we're sharing a first look at some of the improvements we're working on for PvP, alongside changes to how equipment skins can be used and a new Heraldry Set coming to Gloria Victis!
And with Halloween just around the corner, something unusual is shaping up in the shadows...
Of course, we'll also celebrate another pair of Warriors in our weekly Community Spotlight!

Halloween is coming to Gloria Victis!
From October 21 to November 4, join us as the Season of Harvest takes a darker turn!
Take on special Halloween quests and earn event rewards, and discover what awaits you in the shadows.
But that's not all...
Something unusual is stirring in the world of Gloria Victis, and not everything is as it seems.

More Freedom to Customization! 🛡️
Your Warrior's appearance is an important part of your identity on the battlefield.
Whether you're marching into battle wearing your nation's colors or showing off your favorite equipment, we want to give you more freedom to customize how your character looks like without unnecessary restrictions.
That's why we're excited to announce an important change to how equipment skin works in Gloria Victis!
More Skins, Fewer Restrictions!
Previously, skins for armor and weapons could only be applied to items of a certain tier and nationality.
This meant that to use a skin you liked, you needed an item of a specific tier, limited to Tier 4 and Tier 5, as well as an item belonging to the nation associated with that skin, based on the fantasy and lore of Gloria Victis.
Our team recognizes that these restrictions have been an obstacle for players who want to enjoy their favorite skins, particularly those they have already purchased. Without the correct equipment, players simply couldn't use their skins.
With today's update, we're changing that!
We're excited to announce that tier and nationality restrictions have now been removed!
Players can now apply skins to all item tiers, as well as to every compatible item type the skin is intended for.
For example, if you already own a skin for a medium helmet that previously required equipment tied to the Midland nation, you can now apply that skin to any medium helmet, regardless of its nationality or tier!
We're making this change to ensure skins are more flexible and accessible for both new and veteran players. Previously, skins were locked to specific national armor, making it difficult to keep the correct equipment pieces available just to enjoy a particular cosmetic appearance.
With these changes:
- No more frustration when looting equipment from other nations! Your compatible skins can now be applied to those items, regardless of their nationality.
- No more searching the marketplace for specific equipment just to use your skins! You can now purchase more affordable, compatible items and still enjoy your favorite cosmetic appearances.

A Note About Lower-Tier Equipment
Skins applied to items below Tier 4 will have their own unified color scheme, distinguishing them from their Tier 4 and Tier 5 counterparts.
This means players can enjoy their favorite skins across more equipment while maintaining a visual distinction between lower-tier and higher-tier items.
Our goal is to make equipment customization more accessible, flexible, and enjoyable for everyone, whether you're just beginning your journey or have spent years fighting on the battlefield.
Please note: After the update, you would need to reapply your skins on your items again.

PvP Update: What's Ahead? ⚔️
PvP has always been at the heart of Gloria Victis.
From small-scale skirmishes to large-scale sieges, the battles between our three nations are what make every victory, defeat, and moment on the battlefield memorable.
And we're continuing to work on improving that experience.
Our team is currently working on an upcoming PvP update, focusing on further developing and improving the PvP experience in Gloria Victis.
While we're not ready to share the full details just yet, we wanted to let you know that work is underway.
We know how important PvP is to our community, and we're looking forward to sharing more about what we're working on as the details are finalized.
In the meantime, we want to hear from you!
