HB NEVER provides updates. This could be a good game. Instead of creating a whole new version ( GC 2019 ) they should improve the playability. Tiger Woods 2008 was one of the best. ( Used to play Links386 and they came out with patches every few week ) .

Purchased this just a couple of days ago and am very pleased. I was worried by the negative reviews but the difficulty is spot on - the comments about impossible greens etc are bogus, the greens are fine and conform to the contour guides shown but of course putting isn't easy, it shouldn't be! I haven't even played a tournament or entered the course designer yet but would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent golf game on the PC.

Absolutely no shot consistency. Have 10 feet to the pin and want to chip with a lob wedge. You either hit it 12 feet with 10 feet of roll or 10 inches. i cant tell you how many holes that i would have made a minimum of birdie that i end up going 10+ over because the flop shot just misses.
