Opis
Story
Years have passed since you stopped Hell’s invasion of Earth. Quarantined for humanity’s safety, the UAC research facilities on Mars were abandoned and forgotten...until now. A signal from a degraded satellite suggests a single entity remains, and it has the power to resurrect the demons. As the only surviving marine who fought Hell’s forces, you are sent on a lone crusade to hunt down the Mother of Demons and stop a renewed demonic invasion.

Doom 64, a classic in video games, is truly a great game. Its story is the least important aspect; as the creator stated, its pacing and gameplay feel excellent. I won't say anything about the graphics, because, well, it's a game from the 90s, but if the enemy designs are like those in the original Doom 1 and 2, they're good. It's a fun game, perfect for playing in an afternoon. It has its pros and cons, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it's good and fun. 8/10

If you want to play oldstyle Doom Games, buy Doom 1&2. They are way more fun, even today- Doom64 uses a little more advanced engine and has some interesting levels. But most Levels are bad designed, with very anoying timesensitive puzzles and too many bullet-sponge enemies.

the game that took me out and showed me a good time came back to inform me she had several diseases even doctors didn't know the origin for. that's the kinda ♥♥♥♥ i want from a game

I can recommend Doom 1 and 2. You can see the level design got thought out and is interesting. But in doom 64 it wasn't, the level design was bland, the bosses were boring, the gunplay was the same but it just didn't hit the same way as doom 1 and 2. I used the password system, letting you skip to last levels to get the achievements. I just sadly cannot recommend this game, it is not a very good experience, I am sorry 5/10 - MIght be fun for some, but not for me

I don't understand the hate, but I've enjoyed the game a quite a lot. Not every game has to be like the original. If that was the case, it would've bee boring.
