- A brand new experience and challenge. Enemy placement has been overhauled, resulting in a completely different play dynamic than experienced before. The safe zones that some players remembered are no longer safe! A new NPC invader called Forlorn will also play a key role in changing the gameplay experience. Hardened players will have to forget everything they thought they knew about DARK SOULS™ II.
- Online play has been enhanced with the addition of a special item to regulate souls acquired in battle - it’s now possible to match up more consistently online. The number of players who can participate in an online session has also been increased, from 4 to 6 people, completely changing the online play dynamic.

this is literally the best souls game, no one knows what they're talkig about. especially this one guy i know, he's just wrong as ♥♥♥♥. its easily - and i mean easily - the greatest designed game of all time. you can burn the windmill, it's made of metal. how does that work? only dark souls 2 could make that work.

Excellent game! Hours and hours of fun. I love all three of the Dark Souls games and have the most hours in DS2. There a lot of interesting areas, great bosses, and a pretty good story if you care to pay attention to the lore.

Definitely the worst of the souls games but still worth playing. l people judge it compared to other formsoft games and say don't bother playing it but compared to souls likes from other companies its really not that bad.

This game is the worst game I've ever played. The bosses are the only highlight of the game, but that doesn't make the game any better than 1/10. Compared to every other fromsoft game this game is complete garbage and I never want to play this game again because of bad enemies and horrendous combat and mechanics.

mechanically the worst souls game ever designed and created but its the best when it comes to weapon features and it just takes so much patience but i never give up.
