Eleven years ago a horrific fire took Alice’s family from her and left her mind horrifically scarred. Afterwards she was confined to Rutledge Asylum, where she struggled to confront her demons by slipping further into her fantasy world of Wonderland. Now, after ten years, she has finally secured her release—yet she still bears the heavy psychological burden of that tragic event.
With her mind in tatters, she is unable to resolve the fear prompted by her strange memories, dreams, and visions. Perhaps she’ll do better in Wonderland. She always has. She travels there, seeking what the “real” world can’t provide: security, knowledge, and the truth about the past. But in her absence, Wonderland too has suffered. Something has gone horribly wrong, and now a great evil is descending upon what once was her beautiful refuge. Can Alice save Wonderland—and herself—from the madness that consumes them both?
Key Features:
Intense 3rd person action:- Use multiple upgradeable melee weapons, including the explosive Teapot Cannon, the punishing Hobby Horse, and the classic Vorpal Blade.
- Encounter familiar but now strange characters, including the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar and the Red Queen.
- Obtain peculiar abilities in Wonderland such as floating with Alice’s dress, shrinking, or growing to towering sizes in order to crush enemies.
- Intuitive and rewarding puzzles such as transforming obstacles, musical memories, chess, and picture blocks.

I have no issues with the game itself, but good lord this port is egregious. I have spent nearly an hour fiddling with it and it still shutters constantly and crashes at random. Don't buy this if you aren't willing to put in the time to mod it yourself.

I tried to force myself into playing this game, downloaded and deleted it several times, but still couldn't make it further than chapter 2, because for me this game is boring. I'm not saying that this game genuinely bad. Maybe I am gatekeeping myself from some really good story, but who cares? Not me.

Great game despite EA’s hate. Look over guides on how to mod this game to increase performance. Because this one is worth atleast one playthrough. Sucks that Alice Asylum will never see the light of day.

amazing game, has inspired me greatly and would highly recommend anyone who enjoys whimsical, gothic, poetic and artistic games to play this at least once. i adore the visuals and aesthetics of this game, along with it's great story! it saddens me greatly that it won't carry on to another game, but i also recommend reading American McGee's design bible you can purchase on his patreon.

Had it in my library for a while and so happy I got around to playing it finally. Wish they didnt cancel the third game...

The game itself is good. Fun, interesting, and challenging, With a nice edgy take on the dark side of Alice in Wonderland. I had played and beat it with platinum of PS3 before. However this port is awful. Bugs, freezes, and crashes. It actually froze and corrupt my save file and i could not continue without the game crashing on load up. Which sucked because i was actually pretty far in to the game. However, if you wish to troop through it anyway, be sure to have backup saves..
