Description

Under the tutelage of the wise Sergeant, complete your quest to rescue Sir Longarm's captured kin from the clutches of your greatest foe.
This final chapter of the 'Jewel' campaign pits players against the greatest rogue of them all... The vicious Wolf! To safely retrieve the Jewel and put an end to The Wolf's insidious scourge, players must plunge directly into the belly of the beast and bring the fight to his borders. Against great odds in unfamiliar territory, survival alone demands that nothing is held back.
Progress through seven unique DLC missions, taking place on original maps with new strategic challenges and brutal castle warfare. Players must prove themselves and learn from each trial, in order to weave their own tale of historic victory. Prove thyself against new enemies, strongholds and maps. Stamp out the last of The Wolf’s forces and emerge victorious!

Most missions are just "reach the flag". Very bad level and mission design. The devs deliver what Stronghold does the worst, micro managing units in open fields.

Love the game and the classic build and defend. It's what makes Stronghold great. I hate these troops in open field "reach the flag" type missions. Idk why the devs pushed these so hard. Why change what made the game good to begin with...

I'm putting a thumbs up on this DLC because it's technically "new" content for a game that is 2 decades old. However, I wish there are more missions on defending your castles instead of reach the flag missions.

to be honest, if you like stronghold just buy this for extra story in it. everyone complain about there too much flag mission but that is the original story of it. and u played it 20 year ago and its the same. and yes this is the hardest mission in stronghold de,u will retry every mission cause its that hard(even for normal mission) u will have some fun with it. and 2 dollar people complaining had some issue. glhf
