MindsEye Campaign
MindsEye is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure thriller set in the near-future desert city of Redrock. You play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by a mysterious implant and fractured memories. Across a cinematic campaign, you’ll complete missions, uncover your past, and confront a conspiracy involving rogue AI, corrupt corporations, and unchecked military power, a threat that reaches far beyond the city itself.
The City of Redrock
Redrock is a desert metropolis where advanced technology is everywhere. AI and robotics control daily life, shaping everything from commerce to security. Beneath the surface, the city hides secrets, dangers, and conflict. From gleaming towers to industrial sprawl and remote outposts, every district is part of the story.
Combat
Combat is responsive and tactical. Outsmart enemies with unique behaviors, use cover and verticality, and fight in third person with a wide arsenal, pistols, SMGs, sniper rifles, energy weapons, and grenades. Your companion drone, DC2, is directly linked to your implant, providing hacking, scouting, and support in battle.
Driving and Vehicle Action
Missions place you behind the wheel of electric cars, muscle vehicles, buggies, and quadcopters. High-speed chases, desert runs, and industrial zone pursuits are designed to push your skills and keep the action moving.
Endless Stream of New Content
The campaign is only the beginning. MindsEye offers an endless stream of new playable content delivered regularly. New missions, races, puzzles, and challenges developed and released by the BARB team bring fresh surprises. This evolving world keeps MindsEye alive with new ways to play long after the credits roll.
Simple to Use Creation Tools
With our simple to use building tools, you’re not just playing, you’re creating. Builder mode provides access to AAA tools, including asset libraries and lighting systems, as well as simple visual scripting, making it easy to design missions, modes, and environments. You can share your creations with the community and explore what others have built, extending MindsEye beyond the main campaign.

Relying entirely on updated graphics to hide its age, MindsEye feels like a mid-2000s flop that somehow stumbled into a 2025 release date. Everything from its flat plot and terrible characters to its dry, boring dialogue feels completely lifeless. With garbage gameplay mechanics and an entire campaign built on cycling between just two mission types, this is a severely below-mediocre game that fails to justify its place in modern gaming.

An interesting concept for a game, there's some fun to be had, but some areas miss the mark. Lack of any hand to hand combat, cover system is weak, gun play could be better. The map just seems lifeless, but the story is very interesting. The acting is decent, and Jacob is a really cool character.

I bought this game and decided to play for the first time but everytime i open the game, it crashes. Im confused. I thought this was fixed which is why i bought the game now. Very disappointed. I bought a game and cant even play. If this is ever fixed and im able to play, I will come back and update my review but for now , I am very disappointed

Relying entirely on updated graphics to hide its age, MindsEye feels like a mid-2000s flop that somehow stumbled into a 2025 release date. Everything from its flat plot and terrible characters to its dry, boring dialogue feels completely lifeless.
