While game offers interesting story premise, good VO and nice visuals, it offeres very shallow combat system which is boring as hell. Each (of 6 total) chars offers only 1 signature ability and you'll unlock 2-3 upgrades to it via poker hands. That's it. So every single combat is the same, and some encounters are loooong. It's a shame, since 1st game offered far more tactical options.

A big improvement over Hard West 1 and an above average tactical/RPG/turn based combat game. A very unique setting with great characters and a world map to travel around from town to town as you battle bandits and supernatural. Excellent music and sound effects, too. An overall very good piece of game design.
