A classic that carries on what the first game did well. Like with Gothic 1 it doesnt really work straight out of the box on Linux. So, since it shares the same engine as the first game you will have to do the same to be able to play on Linux (and Deck in my case). Subscribe to a beta version, choose the workshop version. Then go the the workshop itself and, at least what I did was, choose a package of essential mods for the Deck. After that it all worked flawless, really.

I played Gothic 1 around 2 or 3 years ago, it was very good, but not amazing. It didn't spark a desire in me to play Gothic 2 right after the first game. Now that I played Gothic 2, I can say this game is bigger and better than the first game. Now, let's see if The Chronicles Of Myrtana: Archolos lives up to the hype.
