❄️⛏️ Kriophobia is voiced in 🇧🇷, comrades! ❄️⛏️
We are thrilled to announce that Kriophobia has been updated with Portuguese voice acting. We have also implemented some important fixes.
Everyone on the development team grew up appreciating Brazilian voice acting, and the opportunity to work with such fantastic professionals, who have voiced so many iconic characters, was an incredible experience. We selected the voice actors with great care and admiration, and we hope you enjoy the result.
Just like with the English voices, we had hoped to include the Brazilian voice acting at launch, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible. Still, we are grateful that they have finally arrived, and we hope even more players can now enjoy the full Kriophobia experience!
This update also brings fixes throughout the game, including the most requested ones, as well as technical updates that may result in improved game performance.
We would like to thank our partners at Radioativa Game Sounds once again, as well as the voice actors who did a fantastic job bringing the characters of Kriophobia to life.
Check out the list of key changes below, included in the main game and the demo:
New Content:
- Added Brazilian Portuguese voiceovers
- Added vocalizations for Anna to react to different situations during gameplay
- Added the option to adjust crosshatching intensity in the brightness settings menu
- Updated credits
Gameplay adjustments:
- Added more help against the drop in temperature the first time Anna descends to the lowest level
- General collision adjustments for certain interactions and timing tweaks for some cutscenes
Bug Fixes / Optimizations:
- Updated the game engine and several third-party plugins
- General optimization of the game
- Fixed an issue preventing the "Logs I" achievement from being unlocked
- Fixed an issue preventing the "Logs II" achievement from being unlocked
- Fixed an issue where an item was not received after the first visit to the deepest level
- Fixed an issue where interactions could freeze when answering certain radio calls
- Fixed an issue where a locker room log would disappear if not collected
- Fixed an issue where Anna would get stuck when opening the locker room door
