What does the "Amazon Dispatch" update bring?
Quality of life & Improvements
South America is now unlockable by purchasing the M&S America Telegraph in the M&S America Radio Tower in the bottom left corner of the map and placing it in your tower. This radio tower, like the European one, finishes construction on January 1931 and telegraphs for South America can be purchased from that moment on.
A tutor guide has been added, triggering when the M&S Radio Tower finishes construction, to hint to players that they can now unlock South America.
A seventh printer page module can now be purchased at the Industry City Harbor.
New travel modes are introduced for South American news items and travel costs plus durations have been adjusted for all of them:
Bus
Taxi
Train
New quest backgrounds and characters added for South American quests
8 new M&S America related quests. They appear as filler (when a tier is completed but not yet advanced), or when an NPC is fully completed
Mafia
Q1: Rum Running Juan
Q2: A Helping Hand
Mayor
Q1: Gateway to the America's
Q2: Banana for Brains
Military General
Q1: Good Neighbors, Strong Borders
Q2: Keep Your Friends Close
High-Society Lady
Q1: Lights, Camera, Expedition!
Q2: Lost and Found
Two dedicated M&S America news items per month, starting from Jan 1931. You will only see them once you have the M&S Telegrapher
Three new South America exclusive build items can now be obtained through South America news items:
Papel Picado Flags
Peruvian Mask
Simón Bolivar Painting (The news item rewarding this is repeatable so it will be easier for players to find it for the Art Collector achievement)
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where scoops could occur on another continent for which a telegrapher was not built yet, but was unlocked
Fixed a bug where the print drawer would immediately close upon pulling the lever. Hiding the newspaper scroll animation in the menu!
Thank you all for playing News Tower! We can't wait to show you what we have in store for the future!
And so the press rolls on!
