BECOME THE SLAYER IN A MEDIEVAL WAR AGAINST HELL

DOOM: The Dark Ages is the prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal that tells an epic cinematic story worthy of the DOOM Slayer’s legend. In this third installment of the modern DOOM series, players will step into the blood-stained boots of the DOOM Slayer, in this never-before-seen dark and sinister medieval war against Hell.

I like it almost as much as DOOM Eternal, especially with the DLC, which improves it significantly. It's a big shame what happened to the people who worked on this game. The performance is incredibly smooth, the gameplay is different yet familiar, and the DLC is excellent. It's definitely worth playing. I went for 100% completion, and it was incredibly enjoyable. I never felt like I was grinding or anything (other than the two masteries, but those aren't that big of an issue).

Personally, the game felt rushed. The game is nowhere near as difficult as DOOM 2016 or Eternal. Even on max difficulty this game was a walk in the park. It's also BS that you need 8gb of Vram just to play, there's no option to turn the graphics lower to make it so that you don't need Vram. I had to get a whole new GPU to play this abomination of a game.
