Very nostalgic, which is why I play. If you have pent up rage and want to defeat civilizations that differ from you, this is the game for you

Ah. The good ol' age of empires. Play this just so you know a bit of RTS history. THe DE is lovely.

The art style is so much better in the classic version of Age of empires.Also the animations are so much better in the classic version.Something is wrong with this DE version , that I dont like it at all.I wish AGE5 would go back to the ancient era again.We need a modern version of Age of empires in an ancient era.

Absolutely! I've played AoE 2, 3, and mythology for pretty much my whole life. I maybe played this one one time, but it didn't really hook me in though. After playing through all of the campaigns, This one really is almost on the same level of legendary as all the others. Be wary though, there is a bug that makes the easy difficulty a lot more challenging. I stuck through with the standard difficulty almost all the way through.

It's actually better than the original because the enemy can't spam unlimited catapults! Get it if you are a fan of RTS games!
